My name is Tracy Crews and I'm in Texas. This web site is all about my Z28 "Bonecrusher" Bonecrusher is a 1982 CrossFire fuel injected HotRod with a 5.7ltr V-8 engine.
I puchased the car in 1996 for Nine hundred bucks . It was in sad shape,it needed alot of work.The paint was faded the tires were bald and most of the interior was missing or didn't work and the old 305 engine was smoking badly.

People who are interested in Third Generation Camaros and Z28's are welcome. I like discussing topics from repairs to modifications. I try to do most of my work myself, and often like to get other opinions from those who may have done the same thing.

MODIFICATIONS
The biggest modification I've made so far is to replace the old 305 engine with a new GM Goodwrench 350 rated at 375Hp. I've added headers and K&N Filters. The next project I'm working on is to put in 350 fuel injectors,And a Hypertech chip for an 82 CrossFire injected Corvette. The 350 engine needs more fuel so this should help. Has anyone else out there done this? Next Im getting A flowMaster exhaust system and new BF Goodrich T/A tires.

THE MONEY PIT
It all started in 1996,The first thing it needed was new tires. Then I had to get the power windows working, they only went down half way and it only had one window switch. The passenger door had a big crease in it. The front bumper cover was sagging and broken. The steering had alot of play in it and the struts were worn out.The motor was fouling plugs and leaking oil. The transmission was leaking too. And then the power steering pump went out. And all the swaybar bushings had to be replaced.
